More and more frequently our company is requested to produce and install cylindrical or rectangular mobile swimming pools of 8 to 20 tons with acrylic walls and composite bottom for different underwater shows.
Such swimming pools are mostly wanted by photo studios, medical and sports institutions, television compounds, theaters, nightclubs, exhibition organizations, hotels, restaurants, shopping and leisure centers. Earlier, acrylic pools were quite expensive and it took a great deal of time to construct them.

From the standpoint of production technology, a composite-bottom mobile pool is an intermediate concept between a big acrylic aquarium and a concrete pool, therefore the advantages of both are characteristic for it. By means of using innovative technologies, our designers and technologists managed to elaborate a perfect variant of the pool. The structural system of an acrylic mobile pool is made of glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP); it is connected to acrylic panels through special joints. In November 2012, our company has implemented a construction project involving a composite-bottom mobile pool for shooting an underwater show, which was a part of the film “Star”, by Magnum Film Company.

This mobile pool consisted of several parts: a cylindrical acrylic mobile pool itself, a pole and a podium. The entire 13-ton construction was 195 cm high. The shouldered cylindrical pool was 280 cm in diameter, 170 cm high and could hold up to 10 tons. This product was made of high quality acrylic glass Plexiglas using innovative technologies.

The installation of the acrylic mobile pool with the composite bottom took about 48 hours.

In the Star film this construction was used for underwater show scene in a nightclub. The construction project of such acrylic mobile pool will do for any entertainment facilities, promotion actions, opening ceremonies or different entertaining events, such as Mermaid Show, New Year Underwater Show, Underwater Go-Go Dancing and other underwater shows involving marine inhabitants and various underwater photoshoots.
